Sora Schools is reinventing education and reshaping what a modern school of the future should be. In a world increasingly shaped by AI and technology, it’s essential to equip students with the skills they need for today’s challenges by modernizing education.
NOIN teamed up with Sora to design key experiences of Sora Home, a learning management platform that serves as the central hub for student learning. Secondly, NOIN drove a Service Design project to evaluate both the frontstage and backstage processes, tools, people, and mechanics to streamline operations and make the school more effective and efficient.

Challenge
Education is one of the last domains untouched by meaningful digital transformation. The market is flooded with outdated, uninspiring tools, and innovation is stifled by systemic barriers and traditional practices prioritizing compliance over progress.
That is where Sora comes in, Sora aims to revolutionize education by putting students in the driver's seat of their learning journey. The school's core philosophy revolves around empowering students to delve deep into subjects that ignite their passion and curiosity.
NOIN partnered with Sora to transform the educational landscape. Our collaboration focused on reinventing the school experience, starting with the redesign of Sora Home and applying Service Design Thinking to reimagine School operations, processes, people, and tools.
Solution
AI-driven Personalized Learning Management Platform
As part of this engagement, we crafted and designed AI-driven learning platforms - SoraHome and SoraSchool, ensuring an exceptional learning experience for students. Additionally, we developed tools that enable parents to meaningfully engage with the school, allowing them to actively participate in their child’s educational journey
Service Design for School Reimagined
We partnered with Sora to apply Service Design Thinking to reimagine the school experience - product, people, processes, support, and operations. As part of this work we engaged in research synthesis, service blueprint, and customer journey maps inorder to identify various opportunities and prioritize them for product and service development.
Design System and User Interface Design
As part of this engagement, we collaborated closely with the Sora team to define their design system from the ground up. This process involved creating a cohesive and scalable UI framework that would serve as the foundation for all future designs for Web and Mobile. We developed key screens for both web and mobile platforms, ensuring consistency across various touchpoints. Each screen was carefully crafted using core UI components, patterns, and design elements that were specifically derived for the system.
